Developmental grouping
Children are grouped by developmental stage, with coaching cues and equipment setup matched to what each class is ready to practice.
Programs
Every class is designed for one specific developmental stage so children can build skills in a calm, predictable environment.
An adult participation class for kiddos who are scooting and crawling, with safe exploration of gymnastics equipment and props on the floor.
A lightly structured adult participation class for toddlers ages 1 and 2, introducing basic gymnastics skills on all apparatuses while building body awareness and early independence.
An independent class where 3 year olds are introduced to basic skills on all apparatuses while building confidence and class independence.
An independent class where 4 year olds build on basic gymnastics skills across all apparatuses, strengthening coordination, confidence, and class independence.
An independent class for ages 5 and 6 that reinforces basic gymnastics skills on all apparatuses and prepares children for long-term recreational movement development.
Extra ways to play and celebrate at Lil Tykes, available from opening day. Camps and clinics may follow as we grow.
Class Structure
Each session follows a predictable warm-up, skill station, and cool-down flow so children know what comes next and coaches can keep the room organized.
Children are grouped by developmental stage, with coaching cues and equipment setup matched to what each class is ready to practice.
Small class caps support low coach-to-child ratios, clear instruction, and safer station movement throughout class.
